Massage Therapy at the Center for Women!

Therapeutic massage is one of the older healing arts. Its many health benefits make it a unique and relaxing approach to managing today's stressed-out world. Chair, Swedish, Shiatsu, Lymphatica, Thai, Prenatal massages, and deep tissue by appointment only. Massages are available in 30, 60, and 90 minute increments. 30 minutes massages are not full-body; they focus on a specific targeted area. (Note--Lymphatica must be 60 min; Thai and Shiatsu: minimum 60 minutes.) Cancellation fees apply.

Hamri Tsegaye also offers Aromatherapy. If requested, she will use essential oils, using a Diffuser and also combined with the massag oil. There is a $5.00 surcharge for Aromatherapy. (Aromatherapy is not a type of massage per se; you will smell essential oils which have different effects, and these fragrances are added to the oil during your massage.)

We invite you to come by the Center to relax and enjoy the benefits of an onsite wellness program with massage therapy. Licensed massage therapisst Hamri Tsegaye, MHA, CMT and Laura Spitulnik, CNMT offer massages by appointment on:

Mondays 11 a.m. - 5 p.m., Tuesdays & Thursdays 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., and Wednesdays 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
You must call for an appointment at least 24 hours in advance.

Gift certificates available. Please call 404-727-2031 or sasha.smith@emory.edu for information or to make an appointment. Unfortunately, as of now, we are only accepting cash or check payment.

Cancellation policy:
If no prior notification is given to the therapist and the massage recipient does not come to her appointment, she will be held responsible for half the charge of the planned appointment. These policies allow us to reschedule open appointment times with other clients who may be on our waiting list.
